Art Direction
My Role
As the Social Media Director for UP Magazine, a fashion and lifestyle publication at Miami University, I curated the magazine’s digital presence to match its visual style and overall vibe. I worked closely with the blog editor to promote new blog posts on social media, created monthly moodboards to guide photoshoots, and managed a creative team of photographers, stylists, models, and makeup artists.
MoodboArds
Each month, I develop a series of 6–7 moodboards to guide our upcoming photoshoots. These moodboards outline the photography style, angles, outfit inspiration, and overall vibe for the content we produce. Once finalized, they’re shared with the photographers, stylists, and artists who bring each concept to life through their shoots. After the photoshoots are completed, I review the images, select the strongest visuals, and curate them into posts for the UP Magazine Instagram, ensuring the content stays cohesive and aligned with our creative direction. Here are some examples of these moodboards.
Content Highlights
This reel brings together a series of recent photoshoots inspired by the monthly moodboards I develop for UP Magazine’s social content. The visuals reflect the themes, styling choices, and creative direction established for each month. Every post is accompanied by a curated caption and full credits, recognizing the photographers, stylists, models, and makeup artists who collaborated on the shoot.
