A laser-cut wood lantern box designed in Adobe Illustrator. The piece features digitally created patterns that were cut and lightly burned into the wood using a machine. Each panel was measured and planned precisely to assemble into a functional box that can hold a tea light, allowing the patterns to illuminate when lit. This project emphasized digital-to-physical translation, precision measurement, and creating a cohesive 3D form.
